What makes your studio different than others?
 We provide beautiful wardrobe for you to wear from all over the world, we have 2 floors of vintage and modern sets, we provide heels, jewelry, and props. We provide professional makeup for camera, modern and vintage hairstyling. We also pride ourselves in being able to put all different personality types at ease and direct/pose ANYBODY to get those amazing shots. I have over 20 years in the photo shoot industry. It started when I was a child dressing up my dog and my cat and taking pictures, then at 19 I found myself in Hollywood dressing celebrities for photoshoots and red carpet events. Now that I live back in Buffalo NY, my clients are my celebrities and it is truly an honor to give you this experience. I still dress up my animals that will never change. LOL

Do I need to lose weight before a photoshoot?
NO! You know what the best diet ever is? 
Having your photo taken by someone who knows all the tricks to making someone look slimmer.
So throw that scale in the garbage, eat some pizza, and breathe. Stop putting that pressure on yourself. 
Great photographs has nothing to do with weight. It has everything to do with 
1.wardrobe 2. lighting 3. posing and 4. you trusting me.

How shall I arrive?
Arrive with a clean face (no makeup) Washing hair the night before is preferred.
For Pin Up/Vintage hairstyles 1 day unwashed hair is best.

What do I need to Bring?
BASE ITEMS ARE REQUIRED FOR WEARING UNDER THE WARDROBE I PROVIDE HERE THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS

• For Boudoir shoots please bring a black bra, and cheeky black undies or a black thong. If you have your own wardrobe and heels you'd like to wear bring them. But remember some outfits for "sex" do not look good in photographs this is why I offer garments here to borrow that are flattering in photos.
• For Bridal boudoir and Marilyn Monroe shoots  bring a white bra, or nude strapless bra and white cheeky undies or a light pink or nude thong. For Bridal boudoir bring any wedding elements garters, bouquet, bridal heels or jewelry I think it's nice to make those shoots personal to you.
• For Pin up shoots bring black, or red bra and undies in same colors. High waisted undies or *spanx, it's smart to pack a nude *strapless bra.
• For Bettie Page shoots black bra and black high waisted undies or black thong is great for under Bettie page style garments.
• For ANY shoot feel free to bring bras, undies, heels, Your own lingerie, jewelry or props, hair flowers, dresses, anything you'd like to make your shoot more personal. 

Are there extra fees once I arrive?

• If you’d arrive with clip in extensions in and you’d like me to curl them $50.
• If you want me to put the clip in extensions you bring in for you and style them $75. Make sure they are human hair, NOT synthetic.
• If you’d like faux eyelashes to enhance your look. $10  ( I will no longer apply lashes that you bring)
• If you'd like to wear thigh highs with a garter belt, thigh high rental fee is$10,
• if you'd like to buy a pair of thigh highs to keep I offer them for $25-$50
• If you forget to bring base undies/thong. I sell thongs here for $10 you keep them.
•  If your nails look scary, am now offering press-on manicures that last for a week for $13-$20. 
• While shooting if you decide to add another outfit, set  and 3 extra edited digitals $150
• If you’d like a hardcover book or calendar of your favorite photos, prices range between $225-$375. 
• if you want to add your pet into a photoshoot. *You must discuss that with me ahead of time pet fee is $100 limited to 1-2 pets maximum. 

Who does the hair and makeup?
I do! I have been doing hair and makeup for photoshoots
on ALL SKIN COLORS /HAIR TYPES for over 20 years.
I studied makeup in Los Angeles for film and photoshoots.
I have perfected makeup for camera that is designed to work with the lighting techniques I use here. 
​* If you are a hair stylist or makeup artist yourself and would prefer to do your own I can absolutely respect that. It will not change the prices of my shoots (because that’s part of artistry included).
I will usually give you a few additional edits instead.


How long does a boudoir or pinup photo shoot last?
Time lengths start at 2 hours and go up depending on your package choice, the length of your hair, and wardrobe try on time.


Do you run Specials?
Yes I do! I run them on my @sweetheartpinup facebook, instagram, and Monthly Specials pages. The difference between my regular priced packages and my specials is time and tailoring and options. For my “specials” you will only get around 10 minutes of shooting time and I will only allow the SETS on "special" to be used.

What if I need my photos in a hurry?
If you have a deadline let me know in your booking form. Most editing and book creation takes 14-16 business days.
If you want edits rushed there are rush fees $150 for 24-48 hours, $100 4 days, $75 for 7 days.
Book creation can NOT be rushed.

What sizes in wardrobe do you have?
From small- 4xl
I do not have all bra sizes, so bringing a few options is a great plan.
If you are worried my wardrobe here won't fit you just talk to me about it. 


What kind of wardrobe do you have for Pin-up styled shoots?
Pinup wardrobe options will be dresses 1. Fit and flare dress (tight on top and waist then flare out at bottom ) 2. Wiggle dress ( Form fitting all over and sexy *spanx help with these) 3. Halter or off shoulder dress ( *strapless bra required) and some retro dresses have *unique necklines so *strapless bras are a must! 4. Peignors ( 50s-60s short sexy nightgowns with matching robes) 5. Retro Lingerie sets ( bras, undies, paired with garters and thigh highs) 6. Vintage Shape wear
( bras, waist cinchers, girdles paired with garters and thigh highs.) 7. Luxury robes (  glamorous like Dita Von Teese wears). 8. Tiki playsuits, dresses and some retro bathing suits.
9. Vintage dresses and gowns 10.Retro tops, and shorts or wiggle skirts.


Are digitals included in my photo shoot?
Yes! Each photoshoot comes with a few digitals -- see my price menu for details.
You will always be able to purchase more digitals and any sized prints, canvas art, or photo merch from your own private ordering gallery.

What Payment do you accept?
I accept cash, credit cards, paypal, venmo, cash app, and zelle. If you want to work out a payment plan before your shoot. Contact me. The goal is always to have it paid in full by your shoot date. All packages are listed under prices and can be easily purchased ahead of time just ask. If you want to pay for a shoot upfront or would like to purchase a gift certificate text or call 716 803-5993.


I have surgery scars can you hide them?
Yes!

Can you remove tan lines or unwanted tattoos?
I can, but due to the difficulty of removing those, there will be an extra fee depending on how many photos you'd like them removed from. My advice is always to talk to me about those things at your shoot.

Can I bring someone with me to the shoot?
NO. I prefer to work with people one on one,  people think having someone there will help relax them but it's usually the opposite. If you have a situation where a friend is driving you, I have a nice waiting area they can relax in.
*If you really want to bring a friend ask me ahead of time. If they respect my boundaries, they can be here.

I have never done a photo shoot before and I'm nervous, what if I mess up?
I think 97% of my clients are first timers and you can’t mess up, all you have to do is show up. I do it all. I worked for 13 years in Los Angeles dressing celebrities for photo shoots and events, I did makeup and hair and pose coached for several photographers. When you come to me you are getting all of my experience and expertise. I won't let you down. Stop putting all that pressure on yourself, all the things that makes a photo good is stuff that I have to do. TRUST ME. You are here to relax, have fun and get pampered.


What if I want to do something unique for my photo shoot?
I absolutely love accommodating my clients ideas for a shoot, the trick is to please call and speak to me beforehand so we can figure out how to achieve what you want and what I need to do on my end to make it happen.

What precautions are you taking since the Covid 19 pandemic?
I am only offering two shoot times daily to be able to clean and disinfect properly. Any wardrobe that is used by a client is removed from my collection for 2 weeks and properly laundered and disinfected. We have always taken the proper sanitizing measures for hair and makeup.
All hand towels, bedding, props, furniture are cleaned between clients. We have the same CDC recommendations as a spa would and are taking them seriously to ensure a worry free fun time.
Because of the wait between shooting and receiving photos its been easy for us to  contract trace and to date we have had zero covid cases connected to this studio! I am very proud of that.
